Ice

Meagan topping out on Polar Circus, Canada

We have climbed ice around the globe, from New Zealand to Alaska, Iceland to India, Norway to Nepal and all over North America and the Alps. Join us for an ice climbing course where you will learn the necessary skills to pursue the sport, or come on a private trip and explore some of the most beautiful frozen landscapes in the world.

North America is home to some of the best ice climbing on the planet, and you don’t have to be a seasoned ice veteran to enjoy and explore some of the continent’s most renowned routes. We can offer guiding in Ouray, Colorado, through San Juan Mountain Guides along with private trips to the Canadian Rockies and virtually any area in between.

If you are looking for something a little more exotic, how about climbing Lhosar, one of the world’s longest ice climbs (800m) located just across the valley from Namche Bazaar in the Khumbu region of Nepal? Iceland is also another option where you can climb ice right above the ocean and enjoy natural hot springs after a day out on frozen waterfalls.

Check our calendar to see when some of these trips are offered, and contact us if you have specific dates or a specific venue in mind.
